What CDL jobs in Fort Worth look like at Maas
Fort Worth is one of the busiest freight towns in Texas. I-35W runs north–south through the city and up past the AllianceTexas logistics district, I-20 cuts east–west along the south side, and I-30 ties Fort Worth to Dallas. A lot of truckload freight starts or finishes within a short drive of where Fort Worth drivers already live.
Maas Logistics is an asset-based carrier. We run our own trucks hauling dry van and reefer full truckload freight, and our company drivers run over the road (OTR) across the 48 states. Full truckload means one shipper's freight on your trailer from pickup to delivery. The rhythm is classic OTR: pick up on time, run the miles legally and safely, deliver on appointment, then take the next load dispatch lines up.
Pay for Fort Worth company drivers
Company driver pay is per mile (CPM). Dry van starts at 50+ CPM. Reefer starts at 60+ CPM because temperature-sensitive freight asks more of the driver: pre-cooling the trailer, holding set points and keeping temperature records. The CPM floors are the same for drivers anywhere in the metroplex, so living in Fort Worth or Arlington instead of Dallas doesn't change your rate.
If you're comparing offers from Fort Worth carriers, ask every one of them the same questions: which miles count toward pay, how the rate changes by trailer type, and how settlements are handled. Our CDL-A driver FAQs cover the basics, and Sergio can walk you through the details when he calls.
Getting from Fort Worth to our Melissa home base
Our home base is 1817 Miller Rd #5 in Melissa, TX, on US-75 in Collin County, north of McKinney. From Fort Worth, most drivers cross the metroplex on SH-121 or take I-35W north to US-380 east. Because the work is OTR, it's not a daily commute. Ask Sergio how the start and end of a trip work for drivers who live on the west side before you commit.
Company drivers start at 50+ CPM dry van, 60+ CPM reefer. Owner-operators keep 87–90% of gross.
Fort Worth freight corridors you already know
Drivers based in Fort Worth already know the corridors that feed long-haul freight. I-35W and I-35 head north to Oklahoma City and south toward Austin, San Antonio and Laredo. I-20 runs west toward Abilene and Midland on the way to El Paso, and east through Dallas toward Shreveport. I-30 links you to Dallas and on toward Texarkana.
Our lane pages show examples of the dry van and reefer freight Maas runs out of DFW, such as DFW to El Paso, DFW to Oklahoma City and DFW to San Antonio.
Who should apply
This job fits Fort Worth and Arlington drivers who hold a Class A CDL, want OTR work in the 48 states, and prefer an asset-based carrier with its own trucks. It's a good match if you've run dry van and want a clear per-mile floor, or if you've hauled reefer and want 60+ CPM for that skill. Not sure which trailer fits you? Compare our reefer CDL driver jobs and dry van company driver jobs.
Own your truck? Use our owner-operator program instead, where owner-operators keep 87–90% of gross.
Requirements
- Valid Class A CDL

How to apply and what happens next
Company drivers apply on the company driver application. It's a short form that asks about your CDL, your experience and your last driving employer. Owner-operators use the owner-operator application instead.
